Because sometimes things go missing in the post—or minds change. Here's how we handle shipping and refunds at Book Besties.

Shipping Info
We currently ship Australia-wide! If you're outside Australia and really keen, flick us an email and we’ll see what we can do.

We aim to pack and post your order within 2–4 business days. Shipping time varies depending on your location and the postage option selected at checkout. Once it leaves our hands, it’s in the capable (and sometimes mysterious) hands of Australia Post.

Shipping costs
We currently offer Standard Postage at the cost of $10 flat rate and Express Postage at the flat rate of $15 on all Australian orders.

Tracking
If your order includes tracking, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number once it’s on its way. If you don't see it, check your junk folder or message us.

Lost or Damaged Orders
Let’s be real—postal mishaps happen. If your order is lost or arrives damaged, please email us with your order number and a photo (if applicable). We’ll do our best to help you getting in touch with the right person at Australia Post.

Please note that once your order has left Book Besties HQ and a tracking number has been lodged, we are no longer held accountable for your parcel.


Refunds & Returns

Change of mind
We don’t currently offer refunds for change of mind, so please read product descriptions carefully before ordering. If you’re ever unsure about a product flick us a message and we will answer any questions you may have prior to ordering.

Faulty or incorrect items
Oops! If we’ve made a mistake or your item is faulty, we’ll make it right. Email us within 7 days of receiving your order and we’ll sort it ASAP for you – promise!

How to Get in Touch
